Here are things that make things worse: Making cheap items almost identical to high value items. This causes the high value items to plummet in price. It is also bad for moral if those items were in nightmare ops...even if they could not be sold. Revaluing items without regard to current pricing. For example one item selling for 100,000 to 200,000 credits on the gtn purchased for WZ comm are now available at 200 cr. At the normal conversion price they should have been at least 10,000 cr (200wz comms at 50 cr per wz com). Almost looks like someone made a mistake and changed wz comms to credits. It might have been better to have reviewed the gtn prices across servers and to have set the value based on demand rather than crash the price structure. Further it would seem better to start the prices high and slowly drop them if needed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ideally the new vendor prices should have been set somewhat based on GTN actual sale prices. When the vendors drop the price by a factor of 10 that is hard but a factor of 100 to1000 isn't helpful to the economy. Nor is the reverse.
