not able to install/update

I downloaded the SWTOR_set up file from my account window , when it installs the launcher it tries to update the launcher and fails every time , I have to removed the entire game and it happens everytime,

First time install and it fails on the launcher update.

Grab the launcher repair utility from http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/GUIDE-Launcher-Troubleshooting/m-p/4805820#2

 

then extract the files in a new folder where you want the game installed , run the launcher.exe briefly in that folder and stop it and close it down,then make the changes per this link

 

after that create a shortcut from launcher.exe to the desktop and you should be gold

Thanks , that launcher file seems to work, funny that the one I download from my account page does not.
