MalgarionBG Posted October 26, 2016 Share Posted October 26, 2016 Hello, After the patch I can't hear lightsaber igniting, combat sounds, footsteps, quick travel, elevator sounds, ship leaving hangar etc. Funny thing is I can still hear background music, speech in convos and cinematics and some other sounds but not the above. I tried CTRL-S, checked sound sliders, restarted computer, I am using headset but it is working fine, I tried with different headset same thing... I can't use the repair option as it is greyed out.. dr_mike Posted October 27, 2016 Share Posted October 27, 2016 There's a number of threads where folks are complaining about sounds low in volume. You may just not be hearing something. Also In Windows 10, changes were made with how Windows handles volume. It defaults now to balancing instead of how previously you had to turn that feature on. If so , see the Best Answer labeled in green here - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1764541/volume-low-settings-maxed.html But yes, try forcing the repair as well.
