psandak Posted October 21, 2016 Share Posted October 21, 2016 It made sense with KOTFE because there's a five year separation between the end of SOR and KOTFE; it was a good time to market "jump into the new story" Granting a level 65 is like saying, "jump into the middle of the new story." As a roleplayer, I'd personally rather just spend money and avoid the whole leveling ordeal. Though occasionally I have phases where I get back in the game for a bit, like right now, I'd still rather be able to skip mostly to the end and endgame content.
