cladinblack Posted October 14, 2016 Share Posted October 14, 2016 I've got both the launcher and game exe as run as admin, i got them both in the exceptions in the firewall, only way it wont shut down right when i launch it is to have it in windows 7 compatibility mode, i have my gtx 780 up to date when it launches it is a black screen and when i use alt + enter it turns into a purple and red multicolor screen and i cant see anything, please help. dr_mike Posted October 15, 2016 Share Posted October 15, 2016 First step is to try forcing a repair - http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=795073 May also want to check the logs subdirectory of where you installed the game to see if any errors got dropped into a log file.
