White Screen and Disconnect when using TS/Mumble

Hello there,

 

Ever since the last patch, whenever i use a Voice program inconjunction with the game, it freezes, goes white, then disconnects me. I have been playing the game for that last 5 years, never had an issue.....until the last patch. I am a IT guy, and i have checked, and double checked everything, and i have no idea why this is happening, does anyone else have this issue/ is it an issue with the last patch....whats going on ?..its almost impossible to play a social MMO game without comms...can someone please reply, and give me further guidance.

Are you starting TS or Mumble after swtor is running ? ensure everything runs as administrator

i am indeed running everything after SWTOR is running, and in admin, yet i still get the problem, i think its something to do with the last patch, as i have never encountered the issue before

Haven't seen anyone else having this issue, one would think there would be a lot of people using TS or Mumble.

 

Keeping an eye out for other reports though

 

Start with some basics i guess are you running the streaming or non streaming launcher ?

 

tried a game repair per below ? just to be sure on the files

 

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair.

 

Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut,

select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher
