GorkieX
Would the Intel Skylake G4500 Unlocked Dual Core, run this game better then my AMD A8-7670k Godavari? Im leaning towards I3 but depending on funding at time, I might want to upgrade my motherboard choice to a Z170 instead of the H110 I been looking at. MadDutchman
As a general rule, Intel is superior to AMD in every way. This might change with Zen coming in the new year (if the rumours can be believed) but right now, Intel is the way to go. EDIT: looking at the actual processors, you might be able to get more from the AMD in this case, but it's probably going to be significantly more expensive. moonstarmac
If you are using the onboard video, no. The A8 has a much better gpu clock. Processing wise, they both pretty close in output, however the A8 does have a little more power draw.
GorkieX
Well the thought is to use my ASUS GT 640 I have in a box untill I can buy a RX 460 or better and save for an I3.. The difference between getting the I3 now and the G4500 is either more or less ram 8gb or 16gb...obviously it uses DDr4.

You probally are right here, the better option maybe to get the i3-6100 and be done with it so that I can just start saving for the new GPU I want to go with it. Froippi
I went with the I5 6500 mainly cause i wanted the true Quad core CPU along with the GTX 950 getting about 60 FPS with some dips here and their i also went with a Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB SSD Edited September 1, 2016 by Froippi

Personaly I would go with: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117562&cm_re=i5_6600-_-19-117-562-_-Product http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813188181&cm_re=evga_motherboard-_-13-188-181-_-Product http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487245&cm_re=evga_1080-_-14-487-245-_-Product It's going to cost you a little but you will have much less problems with frame rate and CPU / GPU lag. The i3 is a great little processor but if you try to put to much GPU behind it then it just can not keep up and your frame rate will suffer from the CPU bottle neck trying to keep up with the GPU. If you can afford it an: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117559&cm_re=i7_6700k-_-19-117-559-_-Product Would be a much better CPU for gaming... Did Intel do an about-face while no one was watching?

As much as I would love to be able to go that way. My funds are limited at all times, so if I do anything i5 it will have to be the 6400 which is one thing im looking at... and getting a rx 460 4gb and then saving for awhile to get something much better.
