LtHardcharger Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 The graphical resolution on my game is currently locked at 1980x1020. In the options page, 1980x1020 is the only choice in the dropdown menu. This is WAY too high for my laptop, and leaves me with a framerate of about 1 FPS, which is completely unplayable. I don't know precisely when this started. I usually play on my desktop, but play on my laptop when I'm on the road, which I am now. A few weeks ago, it worked fine, but when I started the game tonight, I'm stuck in super-hi-res-still-life mode. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks! OwenBrooks Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 If it is the only option in the drop down available try a clean install of the video drivers initially with say DDU Can also try and lower manually Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time Copy the following in to the text box and press ok %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad Set NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) to the resolution you want.
