Hmm? um, it could be a driver thing or a vid card thing or both? It might be a bad patch update?

Have you updated to new drivers lately or maybe you need to update to new drivers?

Is your Graphics card settings up to high? If so try turning down to medium settings see what happens? Also is your in game graphics setting to high, if so try turning them down?

It really could be multiple things or just one easy thing? Thing is, figuring it out? ;)

Good Luck.......

Magenta hot-pink "skins" like that are caused by the game being unable to find the textures for those objects. (In this case, actual skin, but I've seen it in other situations(1).)

You'll need to do a repair (search the forums - there are assorted gotchas).

(1) If you are using the (in)famous Bitraider (look for an "ST" on your launcher somewhere), you can start playing on starter worlds before the game is fully downloaded. Items that belong to those planets (terrain, buildings, relevant taxis, foes, allies, etc.) will be "normal". Anything that doesn't belong (gear on JKs arriving on Ord Mantell to do a certain part of their class story, high-level characters with gear found only on higher-level planets, anybody with CM gear) will show in hot pink in the world or silvery-grey in cinematics until the obect's texture has been downloaded. If the "mesh" (shape) data hasn't been downloaded, the object might be invisible in cinematics.
