andarton Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 I recently updated to windows 10 and SWTOR is not working. I have attempted to mess with firewall and antivirus settings with no luck. I get a connection error 208 almost every time (though sometimes it just keeps doing the loading circle indefinitely and does nothing). The support page says to send the diagnostic files but I cannot locate a way to email or attach them. I would really like to be able to play again so if anyone can assist that would be greatly appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OwenBrooks Posted June 7, 2016 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Make a post here if it persists 208 is normally an issue talking to manifest.swtor.com or the cdn-patch.swtor.com if you attach the latest launcher log (found in log folder in the game folders) and mention what Antivirus is being used. andarton Posted June 8, 2016 Author Share Posted June 8, 2016 Thanks. I went to get my latest launcher log by running the launcher, only this time it actually updated and let me run the game. I don't know what changed. I reinstalled like four times and tried so many different fixes and then it spontaneously started working. So... problem solved I guess! Appreciate the help.
