adormitul
So as you all noticed from the first trailer the creation of Arcann was inspired by Malak who was in turn by Darth Vader but with Vader ruling and things like that. So was Malak such a popular and great villain that they made Malak 2? Why do you think was he one of the great villain of all time in Star Wars? Jedi_riches
Not in my opinion he was not, it was always Revan who was the tactical mastermind behind the Sith's Return and it was also Revan who got so many soldiers and jedi to follow him. Without Revan Malak would not have had the army he had. Not saying that Malak was not formidable, but he was not a great leader of the Sith. DarthDymond
Not in my opinion. He was the villain in a great game, but not a particularly great villain in his own right. In most fiction I end up enjoying, I tend to find the "bad guys" more interesting than the heroes - but KotOR was actually one instance where I found the heroes really carried the show and I still loved it (come to think of it, that's actually my assessment of TFA as well) ...Darth Traya, in the other hand, there was an excellent villain. ConnyJoh
No he wasnt he just did what the code dictates, the great villain in Kotor was my lovely and insane female Revan. She was a great villain.

KingFlabadingdon
Kinda think that if he became an incredible villain it would detract from the Revan story arc.
