Jaren_Kincaid Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 When the change to character names was introduced to enable names to be parsed using a space instead of a hyphen, I immediately bought a rename token and tried to change my character's name from Merrin-nova to Merrin Nova. I got an error message that this name was already in use. Strange, but OK. Still, I had to use the rename token or the flashing gold reminder (which I found irritating) would not go away. So I bit the bullet and renamed the character Merrin-nov and took a deep breath because I have to wait 1 month before I can change the name back again to Merrin-nova. So yesterday I tried to change the name back, the 30 days wait period having elapsed, and again I got an error message! Why is this and how do I fix it?
