TheCheatz Posted April 5, 2016 Share Posted April 5, 2016 For quite awhile now, at least since Fallen Empire's pre-patch, the patching process via the launcher absolutely drags anything installed on my SSD to a crawl. This includes file explorer (Win10), Chrome, Battle.net, and just about any other app I could launch from the same drive that SWTOR is installed on. No other game's patch eats up my SSD's performance as much as SWTOR does; typically only Internet bandwidth is a noticeable drag during installations that are simultaneous downloads/installs.
