Dafmeister Posted March 13, 2016 Share Posted March 13, 2016 I haven't played for a few weeks and when I tried to launch the game via my normal taskbar pinned shortcut this morning nothing happened. I found the launcher .exe file and tried "run as administrator" and was told that the program couldn't run due to several missing .dll files and that I should try re-installing. I duly uninstalled the game and downloaded a fresh copy of the setup program from swtor.com. The setup program won't run. I've tried double-clicking on it, right-click->Open and right-click->Run As Administrator and get the same result: the User Account Control window opens asking if I want to allow this app to make changes to my system, I click "Yes", a Setup window opens with a progress bar that fills in a couple of seconds and then... nothing. I'm running Windows 10, the original installation of the game was done on Windows 8 but the game worked perfectly happily after I upgraded.
