Vanareth
Greetings, What the hell is wrong with mobile authenticator? I couldn't log into the game or website, because the codes from authenticator were all the time wrong, even though I typed that correctly. I decided to remove authenticator and add it again and I can't set it up, because the codes are incorrect (I reinstalled app on my phone twice) and I don't want to leave my account unprotected. Ahrngrim
If you use the swtor mobile authenticator, look if it is the current version. There is an old one that can not longer be used.
dr_mike
They no longer support the mobile key. They moved on to the OATH based Authenticator. Give me a second and I'll find a link in my posting history. edit: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=824843 Edited March 9, 2016 by dr_mike
CrazyCT
WinAuth is a good alternative and runs right from the Windows desktop - I even set up a tiny batch file to run it at the same time as the client. https://winauth.com/ (SWTOR uses the Google type encryption)
dr_mike
They moved on to the OATH based Authenticator. Just realized we've been using the wrong term all this time. It's OAuth. OATH is a different one. OAuth - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OAuth OATH - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Initiative_For_Open_Authentication Your post about Google reminded me that Google didn't have anything to do with OATH. Sorry for the confusion. Edited March 9, 2016 by dr_mike
