SyfaKion Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Since the update, I've had to run the game on minimal graphics and resolution (before they were both maxed out) and the game still doesn't run smoothly. Every 20-40 seconds, or so, the screen goes black and the loading screens comes up; it can take up to a full minute for the screen to reload properly. This is not a computer issue, as other games run smoothly on maximum graphics and resolution, nor is it an internet problem as teh server lag is 34ms (plus no other gamer in teh house is having an issue, and they don't play SWTOR). All drivers are upto date, too, and where before the patch the other day. Please help/fix this issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
OwenBrooks Posted February 12, 2016 Share Posted February 12, 2016 Run a game repair initially Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner, If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pulldown on the top right and select settings, then press repair. Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. If it is the video driver, I don't understand how as other games, (WoW, STO and EVE) all run fine at max settings. Is there any way to check this and sort it out?
