Mubrak
Players can no longer toggle off the “Dusted with Snowflakes” buff that is received when hit with a Snowball. Aside from the griefing factor, this also counters stealthers in PVP. The snowballs as they were were a nice toy. if someone was offended by snowflakes, he could just click it off. Now it's a trolling tool. There was absolutely no reason for this change, people farmed snow covered parcels by clicking off the buff, yes. But that was in 2013. Now we have the overheated droids that have twice the drop rate and continuously drop parcels as long as two or more players are throwing snowballs at them. Khartu
I had always related to the annoyance of the snowflakes as a player debuff, but if this is true it would be more than an annoyance. When BW has a bad idea, like irremovable snowflakes, they appear to often take it one more step to absurdity. This is actually a perfect grief hack. How do you universally grief a player population. You get the game developer to make a major annoyance near universal and irremovable. My hats off to the griefer responsible for this "fix".
