Expanded Romance

Before we start: I'm new to the game and only just completed the Hutt Cartel DLC as a Jedi Knight in my first play through which is why I refer to Kira and Lemda so much in the below text. I apologise if some of the stuff I'm suggesting as already been applied, as stated before I'm new to the game.

I also understand that this may make me look a little odd but It's just because this is all so new to me that I'm very excited by it and can't help but make these suggestions.

This game is amazing and I love the ability to Romance companions into marriage and flirt with random NPC's which in turn effects your likeness with them. However I strongly feel it could be expanded hugely but I do still understand these things take time which is why I'm suggesting just a few things that might keep us entertained.

We see a new potential romance added in every DLC but like Lemda we never really see them again after completing the story and this was really disappointing, it would be really nice If we had the ability to recruit them as companions and like the Romance with characters such as Kira etc, have their own story with the player.

In addition create more dialogue for current companions in every DLC, so we don't end up forgetting we're actually married and made plans to have children with them.

As for the romance with Lemda and other DLC romances this could be rekindled through the intercom system (after recieving dem digits) with a short piece of dialogue persuading them to join you, since their isn't much room left on the ship she could be sent to Tython or a player home (same applies to all other romances).

If the player as already committed to a companion but chooses to indulge them self even more then every flirt with any other companion should be worth double the dark side points vice versa for rejecting temptation and gaining light side points. There is no need for a new system that allows you to terminate relationships, rather simply build new one's behind current companions backs.

Stay with me, almost done.

There are so many situations which could of benefited from the flirt option but didn't, the encounter with Lord Loyat being one.

In short more Romance plz, it's effect on the story and the jealously it causes between companions is a really great addition that I've never seen before.

I think this is doable, because it's really only some extra dialogue but let me know what you think. Can't wait to see what the other stories are like after my Jedi Knight is finished.

Work your way through KotFE I to IX on a male Imperial Agent, then play X (released on early start *tomorrow*), when one of your romanceable companions returns. There are, supposedly, consequences. So, of course, romance Lana Beniko and/or Theron Shan along the way, and you'll see whether Kaliyo takes it well or not. (I'm of two minds on this. She's volatile and untrustworthy, known for bearing grudges for a long time, and not exactly known for restraint. On the other hand, (elides spoiler about the way the chapters One(1) to Three romance goes between the agent and Kaliyo, but it's a stark contrast with "volatile and untrustworthy").)

(1) Chapters I to IX and X - Roman numerals - are KotFE. Chapters 1 to 3 and/or One to Three (Arabic numerals and/or words) are the original (pre-RotHC) class story.

Additional note: Don't forget to run each class twice - once as a man, once as a woman - to see both available companion romances. Some classes (Smuggler, Imperial Agent, Sith Warrior, I think) will require two male runs, as there are two romanceable female companions, but not two at once.
