Flaminfairy Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Is there a specific reason kenetic combat has been intentionally gimped? You can by a shield generator for the other classes with basic crystals but kenetic combat tanks can't buy a shield generator anywhere besides the GTN for a lot of credits. You have locked moddable gear from the level 8 vendor on fleet that is specifically class locked to Guardian/Jugg and PT/VG forcing up and coming shadow/assassin tanks to have to buy from the GTN for 5 mil credits or higher because of that issue. Cortimi Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 You do realize that Shadows/Sins use the exact same shield/focus as Juggernauts, correct? There are only two types of shields in the game: one with Force Power (sins/juggs) and one with Tech Power (ptechs). Sorcs, Sins, and Juggernauts use a focus when in DPS spec. Powertechs do not use a focus, they use a "generator" which is the exact same thing, but with Tech Power instead of Force Power. See the common theme here? I do hope you can figure the rest out. They are class specific so assassin/shadow tanks can not get the generator from the level 8 equipment vendor that is supposed to have enough equipment that you can have a full set buying with common data crystals. They are currently class locked with the requirement that you be one of those 2 specs in order to get the shield generator.
