Morenomdz Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 Hello there, my system is: Core I5 4690k 8 gb ram 970 gtx Game installed on an SSD Windows 10 64bits The game runs at locked 60 outside of combat, using a high setting with medium/low shadow settings. But it doesnt matter if I set it all to low, every time I get into combat the fps goes down to 20-30, for really, this variation is unplayable. This pc can run games on high ultra without problems, it ran Witcher 3, CoD BO3, Ryse, even WoW runs at 60 in raids in top tier settings, but on SWTOR it goes down to 20 in combat. Why? I tried to use SW Unleashed, same thing, I tried to install directx 9c, samething. I really cant play the game this way, it makes me sad and frustrated, but I want to keep playing, so before I cancel my sub, please, I need to ask for help. Help. I've been paying this game for so long and barely played it, built a whole new system for it and still won't get a single "tip" on how to make it run good at least from your techs? Way to go.
