Madness Death Field range

I have recently observed that the range of death field, when using the auto double key click, which centers the death field on the selected target does not work when at 30 meters, which is the range. Depending on which boss, the auto double key click works from 27.1 meters on some bosses (annihilator, fabricator, Nefra, etc), but on others I had to get to 21 meters or even below 20 meters (Writhing Horror, Titan 6, Kephess) for the auto double click to work on the selected target. The auto double click should work on all targets if it is selected and at 30 meters. My force lightning etc works at that range, but not death field.
