SableShrike Posted November 18, 2015 Share Posted November 18, 2015 BitRaider. It's a Peer2Peer program that handles the downloadable client. So if you download the game instead of load it from a hard copy, you have BitRaider. It can eat up your bandwidth, cause problems downloading patches (like this time), and do other general nastiness. Soon as I read up on it, I immediately uninstalled it. Not to mention some ISPs and campus networks flat-out BAN any Peer2Peer use. Disabling it will cause you to have to do a full game re-install, but from then on you should be rocksolid. And without any Peer2Peer nonsense. This post here will tell you how to disable BitRaider.
