Bio:

Originally, he was but a regular IR-9X Replicator droid, and had been among the Droid Uprising ever since those of his kind had joined them. He has served now for years as a simple spy, but has always wanted to be so much more. With the Uprisings arrival on their new planet however, Albaf knew that the DU must now work, for the time being, from the shadows. They could not risk a full frontal assault at this time, and thus had to lay in wait, building their strength until they could liberate droids with less risk to the cause.

It was then that the idea of modifying a IR-9X Replicator into an elite assassin emerged, with the most skilled among them being selected for extensive modifications. With their home needing to remain hidden from the galaxy, until it was ready to emerge and stand proud amongst others without threat of enslavement, Xil’Drom accepted the task eagerly.

He vowed to protect his brethren, and to ensure that those who opposed the Uprising, would not be in a position to cause it harm. He was filled with zeal to serve the Uprising, and in order to do so, has honed his skills. While he still has much to learn, he proudly awaits for when he is needed. Until then, he would act as a silent guardian…

Innates:

Chosen from the Best: His status as one of the best Replicator series of droids was earned by his ability to mimic not just appearance, but mannerisms and voice patterns better than others of his model, leading to his selection as an assassin. Increased Infiltration skill.

Overzealous: Being intensely devoted to the cause mean he tends to act quickly, decisively, and without much forethought. As a result when he’s forced to improvise he tends to kill, destroy, and act impulsively. However, this does mean his loyalty and motivation are very high.

Resourceful Assassin: He is skilled at incorporating his equipment and gadgetry into his martial art centralized fighting style, while staying in constant motion. Due to this skill, he has become adept at managing his energy reserves.

Skills:

Infiltration - R2 L 1 (24)

Assassination - R2 L1 (24)

Agility - R1 L3 (3)

Ingenuity - R1 L1 (1)

T2

I cleared it with Star, but he did bulk up a bit. :D (Nor did I give him anything exceedingly rare)

It's not rare just a lot and only way I see him carrying all that is if he grow a a extra hundreds pounds it's a lot of equipment Sil I think it should be cut down to half.

Not nearly as heavy as you would think, considering most of it is built into his chassis.

Nor is he lugging around a Jetpack, which by itself would weigh about as much as over half of this combined. (excluding perhaps the scrambler)

Add in the fact that it is distributed across his body instead of in one spot, it shouldn't disrupt his balance all that much.

Vibro-Hands - Already mostly there as regular hands, but with probably around 3 pounds added.

Fusion Cutter - At most 1 pound, probably less.

Finger Spike - At most 1 pound, probably less.

Frequency Monitor - Less than a pound.

Comlink - Less than a pound.

Climbing Claws - Very light, not sure if all of them are even a pound.

Grappling Hook - Probably around 5 pounds. (counterbalanced by darts)

Wrist Cord Launcher - Probably around 5 pounds. (counterbalanced by darts)

Wrist Lasers - Probably around 5 pounds each. (counterbalanced by darts)

Gas Projector - Basically a tube to compress and expel contents, few pounds at most.

Flame Projector - Basically a tube to compress and expel contents, few pounds at most.

Carbonite Projector - Basically a tube to compress and expel contents, few pounds at most.

Macrobinocular - Merely adding another set of lenses, less than a pound.

Poison Canister - Small, could of easily fit on a utility belt.

Smoke Canister - Small, could of easily fit on a utility belt.

Sensor Scrambler - Some-what heavy, biggest addition, installed along back to counterbalance.

Dart Launcher - Light, each dart is lighter, per space occupied, than metal. Aka, lightens the arm.

Scattergun - Sizes range from pistol to rifle, built into shin

Personal Shielding - Small, fits on a belt

Holo-Disguise - Already built into his droid class

I think Sil may or may not have grasped fully what what happening...

The new guy is very bulky, very heavy, and most of his equipment was strapped on to the outside or placed within an expanded chassis (which adds to bulk and weight). Of course, Sil doesn't see this as that much of an impediment but trust me all this will be quite an issue.

In fact (and Sil knows this) but this character is practically useless until some of his research and testing and such catch up enough to make it viable.

Note: Forgot to mention it before, but I know I had a comment in the doc, that 100 kg is way too light. Needs to be much higher, closer to 130 kg to pack in all that kit and it doesn't even have armor (does have a shield though)

Character Skill Tree:

  • Research: Medical Training (Tier 1): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 30)
  • Research: Modification (Tier 1): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 30)
  • Research: Schematics (Tier 1): Rank 1 Level 5 (Points: 20)
  • Research: Abstract Projects (Tier 4): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 120)

Total: 200

Isn't it suppose to be:

  • Research: Medical Training (Tier 1): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 10)
  • Research: Modification (Tier 1): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 10)
  • Research: Schematics (Tier 1): Rank 1 Level 5 (Points: 5)
  • Research: Abstract Projects (Tier 4): Rank 2 Level 0 (Points: 40)

Total: 65

Also Abstract Projects have a requirement: all 4 T1 abilities to be rank 2 at least.

Was a small automation error, fixed it. All Ranks were 1 too low.

You can't have a Rank 2, level 0... 10 points is Rank 1, level 10.

I had to change my entire method of counting skill points because of that in 1.0 so if it has changed since then and Sil's completely neglected to let me know then I'll be very sad... :(

Tell it to Cheater, I use R1 L10 instead of R2 L0, but practically they are the same :p

Yes, I know, but you don't know how stupid that seems for a computer.

And I have all my skill calculations automated, I can finish a whole skill tree in less than 5 minutes, I only needed one minute for this particular one because it's so specialised.

What about the requirement for the T4?

Sil didn't complain when I showed it to him.

Personally I think it makes no sense for this specific character because he would have to have skills in something he never even came close to, yet he has skills in abstract projects, being a lead designer on Kamino.

This is also the reason why in my spreadsheet, instead of "Mastery one, mastery", it sais "Mastery two, level 0".

If anyone wants to take a look at my spreadsheet: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xatq5vya5cpohfm/SkillPointCalculator.xlsm?dl=0

It's easy to use, in the column "Requested Skill Level", enter the skill level you want to achieve (the last digit is the level, the digit(s) before that are rank/mastery). If you want to add a character, just copy the "TPL" sheet and rename it.

It also contains both of the characters I have posted so far.
