Also, did you only zone it, see it wasn't there, and then leave? I know that sometimes it doesn't show up right away, but if you start moving toward whatever the first objective is, it'll show up then or after the first conversation and then you start moving. Just asking because I was playing on my chiss female BH post 4.0 and went through this during the storylines at level (not started KotFE yet) and had no issue with the droid not being there.
