Yoda says the Dark Side isn't stronger...

Yoda says the Dark Side isn't stronger than the Light Side of the Force, but he doesn't necessarily say it's weaker either.

Remember the conversation. Luke asks Yoda, "Is the Dark Side stronger?" to which Yoda replies, "No, no, no. Quicker, easier, more seductive."

This statement has no implication that the Dark Side is inferior to the Light Side. In fact, given Yoda's response, it seems like the Dark Side has a big advantage over the Light Side because a Sith (Dark Force user) could attain the same power as a Jedi with less difficulty and in a shorter amount of time. So while the power level, for lack of a better term, of the Dark Side may only be equal to the Light Side, it represents a significantly better return on a person's investment of time.

Do not be so quick to dismiss the Dark Side.

The dark side and light side of the force are the same power, most sith overpower jedi because the dark side isn't restrained and influences the user to kill their opponents while the jedi use the force to bring peace and hold back to avoid killing and influencing themselves to the dark side. So it's not about which side is stronger, it's how far is the other side willing to go

I guess you can compare it to a marathon runner and a sprinter.

A Darksider (sprinter) can very quickly achieve a large amount of success, but they plateau quickly, whereas a lightsider (marathon) will can have greater success longterm.

Darksiders also traditionally pay a harsh physical price for their powers in the EU.

To put it into perspective, Yoda was essentially the most powerful force user until the Emperor comes along, and at that point, Yoda was already well past his prime.

In Lucas' vision, Luke becomes the most powerful force user ever (a lightsider).

Qui Gonn achieves some form of immortality after death, which speaks to his dedication to the Force.

The last thing to consider is the Force itself. It's not weapon, and it's not meant to be used as such. The Force is life.

The ultimate expressions of the Force are ultimately non-combat feats; healing wounds, saving lives etc.

Those are powerful feats.

It's just that the Darksiders have more overt displays of power that can be measured.

It's all up to personal opinion at the end of the day and how you measure power.
