The Login Service Is Currently unavailable. Please visit our Forums for the latest updates on the status of this service. Thats the message the login screen gives me. I think the servers are down or something. they usually tell us if the servers are going to be down for servicing or patching. TestofFaith Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 (edited) I am also experiencing this today, where I log in and the game starts to load and "sticks" at the splash screen (SoR pic). Not sure what the issue is, as I was on an hour ago and had no problems, changed nothing, etc. I have (as of edit) tried this on two machines, checked all internet connections and tested other devices, as well as another MMO (Final Fantasy 14) and everything but swtor is working correctly. If I let it sit long enough on the splash, I get to the server select screen, but a message comes up that says 'this account isn't authorized to connect to our servers'. tchump Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Same here. If I take the following steps, I can get past the splash screen to server selection: 1. Launch the launcher. 2. Login. 3. Disconnect from the Internet 4. Hit "Play" 5. When the server selection screen comes up (empty), connect to the Internet 6. Press CTRL+U 7. Wait for the server list to populate. Once the server list populates, it shows that I have "-1" characters on all servers, including servers where I have several characters. If I select The Harbinger, where I have some characters... I get the "Logging into selected server" message, and it hangs there. According to Bioware CS in this forum, it's an ISP issue on their end, and they're working to switch traffic.
