Dyoniccus
Greetings, Yesterday, EA decided to suddenly update thair launcher, so they kicked everyone out by shutting their servers. After the update, I logged back into the game using the new launcher, and played some. Today, 6 October, I started up the new launcher, enter my credentials, waited for the verification process to end, and start gaming. I got following error message: This game encountered an internal error and will exit Error Code 7 Incompatible system I tried to use the launcher repair option, but it was greyed out, meaning the game client did not see any problem, or it would have been enabled I opened my swtor file, found a fixlauncher.exe, used it, and now i have the old version of the launcher back, sadly with the same error. So, now i'm stuck with the old launcher again, and an error which prevent me from playing. If possible, I would like a fast solution since I am a subscriber, and im loosing valuable game time while this launcher issue persist. Thank you for your time, Asmodaan
Daewan
Are you running as an administrator? You might also try running the fixlauncher.exe. It's in the same folder as your SWTOR install. If you really need immediate help, you will have to either call Customer Service or use the new Customer Service support page: http://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/ct-p/star-wars-the-old-republic-en
