How do you prepare your mains & significant toons for the expansion?

I am no roleplayer but I love creating unique armor sets thanks to the awesome costumisation possibilities provided by the developers. My main marauder and secondary main assassin have thier "sith" gear and now thier "outlander" gear ready to go when the expansion starts.

My marauder wears this in his sith costume (I am currently trying to raise my reputation to obtain the black primary dye from the reputation vendor to finish my vision of this costume)

and this is his outlander gear which was chosen to specificaly represent the fact that our empire is in a less "elegant" state now that it has been defeated and that he is no longer the sith he used to be.

My assassin

I didn't prepare any pic of my Darth Imperius in her sith robes, but there's actualy no deep customisation in them other than the change of dye. She is fully robed in the dread robe set from oricon (minus the raid hat)

but in her outlander gear... well lets say that while I still sought something less " prestigious" I still decided to feed my lust for some eyecandy aswel so...

that is her

What about you? Did you do something similar? Did you write your story or something? :)

The first week of a new expansion I find tons of new gear half the time green gear so the sets I have setup are the ones I have been working on for months or years if I really like a piece of gear, I still use my Columni robe on my main that the dev's painted on everyone's since people stopped wearing them. It was funny to log in and see spirals all over my robes. I guess I will buy more customization slots before it starts. But usually the biggest thing is to run any content that might go away or change like when Karag the Hut fight changed. Usually the other thing is buy dyes that you like since just before they get expensive until about a few months after the expansion goes live. Then again I try and hand on to dyes that I like so when I get that really cool piece of gear that base color was not my style I have the dyes I like and do have to track them down or budget for more dyes. The big thing to stock up on is augments and MX-X holders but since they said those are changing I'm going to wait and make them after the changes since the changes usually favor those who wait to see what is actually needed.
