Combat log

I know its possible. But how do I observe combat actions in battle via chat menu. I know u can do the option in preferences to observe it outside the game. But what do I push to observe them during the game.?

I know a lot of people want this question answered.

But for now, you'll need a third party program to read your combat logs and display it on screen for you.

You have a couple of options to do this. Starparse, Parsec and a couple others but these are the best ones.

Go ahead and download one of those programs, direct the program to the path your combat logs are saved to and get your overlays enabled on the program.

 

I've never been one for being to explain with typing :/

 

By the way, the damage counter is not displayed in your chat box (unless there is a program that does that, which i'm not aware of)

There is no way that I know of to make it visible in chat, there is the fly text that will show combats stats but I think that is it.

i know it exists cause ive seen a video of someone defeating a boss, and it shows the enemies abilities it was using in the chat box. There was no talking in the box, only abilities and damage. FFXI has something exactly like this but its part of the game. I thought that swtor had it but it could be a third party program. I just don't know.
