Right now all speeders and pets are limited to 1 decoration, even if you have the pet or speeder on more then on character, you'll always only be able to place 1. Mounts pets and companions are in the same group. Instead of being limited by a global count, you are able to place them once in each stronghold, but only once per stronghold. Makes sense for companions, but being able to place the same pet several times sure would be nice (thinking Yavin wildlife). Mounts too, I guess, if you can get over the running engines and saddled mounts. This would either require yet another exception from determining the available decoration count, or a different approach where you are granted a pet/mount decoration everytime one of your character unlocks the real one.
