It doesn't make sense since all the other patch cycles went 1.0-1.9 and 2.0-2.10. It'd make 3.0 the odd one out since it'd go 3.0-3.3. My guess is that KOTFE starts as 3.4, and then each new chapter will 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, etc. That's why I've been very careful about not calling KOTFE 4.0, because I don't think it will be. There was never any 1.8 or 1.9, it went from 1.7 to 2.0 (or if you want to get technical, it went from 1.7.3a to 2.0). Between the Level Cap increase and the overall significance of the update, I'm pretty sure KotFE will be 4.0. I doubt we'll see a 3.4 since nothing has been announced at this point, so that'll just be the way it happens to work out: 3.3->4.0.
