The animations are the same for non-spec attacks (attacks gained by way of being a Sith Warrior), such as Ravage or Vicious throw, but attacks which come from a specific spec (i.e. Massacre from Carnage spec, or Rapture from Annihilation spec) are not shared by the different specs, obviously.

 

With regard to cross faction counter parts, their animations differ from ours, at least where Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight classes are concerned. Hope that answers your question sufficiently.
