no 186 gear on fleet for marauder?

when i was lvl 55 i found gear for my marauder on the fleet which was foestopper, now that ive hit 60 i cant find any in the 60 shop? is there just no 60 marauder commendation gear or does it go under a different name

I might have been blind, but is there no main hand LS for sale with basic coms?

 

I tried buying 2 off hands, but after removing the hilt, i placed it in my old main hand shell, but I couldnt equip that weapon into my mainhand anymore

No 186 or better main hands available anywhere for any comms.

You can buy a hilt from GTN and use the rest of that off-hand, or an artificer could reverse engineer and then craft

Reverse engineer a green 168 or blue 172 and work back up if needed.

The problem with vendor gear is that armorings and hilts are bound to a certain slot. For your problem a saber can be either in main hand slot or off hand slot. However, when u put in an offhand only hilt, the saber becomes offhand only as well.

 

the solution is to buy a 186 hilt from GTN, cuz GTN sold hilts/armoring have no restrictions on slots, and they are pretty cheap now actually (186 things on my server is like ~100k per piece). 192 and 192+ main hand only drops in operations. U can now still buy 192 hilt from GTN but it is much more expensive (like at least 2 million+).
