I was born in Norway but moved to England young, parents spoke both languages to me so I was bilingual at a really early age. My school required taking a language, I took two for some reason, I regret the choice but I stuck with them afterwards to finish learning them properly. Took German on the side at university because I wanted to live in Berlin for a while, but I gave that one up...
