polparohoda
Brief: several equipment 3D model seem to have problems. Included in the report are [blade Savant Chestguard]; [Cathar Warstaff]; [Exquisite Formal Jacket] (Vette?). [blade Savant Chestguard] has a lower frontal part below the belt, and from time to time — as far as I can tell, only in conversations — this part disappears from the scene. One cut it's there, next it's not. Just in case, other pieces are [blade Savant Belt] and [Dark Seeker Pants], all color unified, dye is [Dark Blue and Light Brown]. The problem persists, but seems to occur somewhat randomly since the time I started using the item, which was around the ending of Sith Warrior chapter 1. And by the way, sometimes in conversations "metal" breastplate stretches. [Cathar Warstaff], while is quite cool, has some serious issues with the "main" collapsible blade. First, it seems to reflect whatever. I've seen (and have screenshots of) it blue, pitch black, and red, all while the "secondary" fixed blade is your usual silvery color, maybe a little tinted. If it wasn't enough, sometimes in collapsed state the main blades just outright disappear! One observation that might or might not be right is that more serious issues with the blade occur more often in low light locations, such as Coruscant Black Sun territories, cantinas, underground locations, etc. [Exquisite Formal Jacket] on Vette seem to have some mapping problems with it's decorative "cord", however it's called. The sharp point sticks out of it , and points away. It always seem to be moving with the camera and with her. The offending vertex, while generally not longer or bigger than on previous two screenshots, can in special situations, such as Vette's "death" or cutscenes and conversations, be extremely obvious. The issue seems to be just with Vette — while still sometimes dodgy, cord polygons don't seem to stick out on my own character or other male and female companions. Another problem, of which I unfortunately don't have screenshots (I suspect, in conversations game doesn't take them — which is a bug too, imho), is that in afterchapter affection-triggered conversations on board of Fury any companion equipment coloring didn't show, all clothes reverted to their default coloring for the duration of conversation scenes, while being normal all other time. Again, as I only have this one colored [Exquisite Formal Jacket] on my Vette, it may be some combination of conditions. While I don't believe it's a problem with the graphic card, mine is GeForce GTX 750 Ti, running with latest drivers (347.52 now, but the issues persist across driver changes, at least two-three before had the same ones) on Win7x64. Update: Apparently, not only Fury conversations are affected. Just now, Taris, Sith Warrior chapter 2, pre-final assault "pep talk" scene. Vette's clothes not only aren't colored, "hide head slot" option doesn't work too — just when I forgot she had that ugly thing on. Amorianallund
About the conversations aboard the Fury, this is not just a problem with the Fury ships. This happens on all ships with companion conversations. Best part is, Bioware knew it was a bug. It was on their bug list a couple years ago. It got removed from that list without being fixed. Because they don't care.
