Nickious
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYbetvkPA6I Yes I'm sure they'll shut down the portion of the game that constituted more than half of all revenue this game generated. Right... Edited February 17, 2015 by Nickious

DarthDymond
You mean like putting a tourniquet around your neck to stop the bleeding from a head wound? OP's suggestion seems like it would be more analogous to putting a tourniquet around your neck to stop the bleeding from a stomach wound.
JamieKirby
Topic says it all. They won't shut it down, it generates alot of profit and what company would say no to profit......that would be none of them.
AbsolutGrndZero
How about shutting down the Kansas government and fixing the problems with California's government? What? They are two different governmental bodies? But, they are still a part of the United States Government... Yes, there you have it. The Cartel Market and the "REAL problems" as you call them might be part of the same company, but they are not the same, just like Kansas and California may be part of the United States, but the are not the same. RowanThursday
Quite. There is one big correlation between the cartel market and the "real problems" though; if you shut down the cartel market, the real problems would never get fixed, as someone needs to pay the electricity bill. Reno_Tarshil
The real problems wouldn't get fixed any faster.
Rankyn
If they shut down the Cartel Market, they'd have less money for the game which means layoffs and significantly longer development times. This would frustrate players and they'd leave causing further revenue loss. The cycle would repeat until the game was shut down. So yes, OP, shutting down the Cartel Market would indeed cause all of the game's problems to go away.
