It's really obvious if you are rapidly taking damage, the wall turrets on Torque for example, and you do a Mag Shot immediately after proccing it with a Power Shot it actually costs the 15 heat still. It gives and consumes the IPA buff and it vents the 5 heat but it does not make Mag Shot free. Quite lovely really.
