Frozensack
Yes I am having troubles right now. I am downloading the client again to see if that works. The problem was this morning I log on like normal but the play button would not light up to click. Worked yesterday and last night. Nothing else was downloaded. There is no fixlauncher.exe. Win8 new computer. At the moment mine is saying installing 0% minimum download in progress with a swirling circle at the end for the 20 mins it took me to type this. smcclel
I tried the fixlauncher which has made it worse. now just sits there thinking and cannot find patch data. I have not seen a official post of recognition of the issue being looked at yet..
smcclel
I just changed my DNS on my modem and it has fixed it.... did from the below post on another thread. I used the first ones (Level 3) REPORT POST QUOTE Rather then edit the host file the alternative is to change the DNS server as per http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...c-eefca5d278d0 however do not set the google dns (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4) as it too has dropped the record. Initial thought is one of the root servers has dropped the records and it can take over 24hrs for this to update again to ISP dns servers. DNS servers that are currently responding and can be set to as a workaround for the dropped record.
