Started a SWTOR Open Source Community Spreadsheet Collection.

The hopes for the spreadsheet is that we work together as a community to:

• Create new Spreadsheets that are helpful to the community.
  
• Add helpful spreadsheets you have come across giving credit to the creator and providing a link of the source on the table of contents.
  
• Help add Links to Helpful Guides on the appropriate Guide Link Spreadsheets.
  
• Help add missing information to existing Spreadsheets.
  
• Help correct errors found on the existing Spreadsheets.
  
• Most importantly use the spreadsheets people have made to further enjoy the game.

I have made many of these Spreadsheet Collections for games that I have played with great success, when the community comes together to work on a shared project. There are is a lot of information out there that is outdated. Lets work together and create a one stop source of up to date information, guides and spreadsheets. I will continue creating spreadsheet but it would people helpful and faster if people from the community help to create something useful and beautiful for their peers.

 

Spread the word let your guilds and friends know about this spreadsheet.

 

If you you don't know how to edit spreadsheets but would like something added to the collection please leave a link with a reply. Someone who knows how or I could help add it to the spreadsheet.

Hyperlinks will be added to content as I have time.

 

Basically anything on the spreadsheets that are underlined will have hyperlinks that will take you to a website that has information on that item. Simply click on that underlined thread and you will be given an option to be taken to that website.

 

Keep in mind for now there won't be many things hyperlinked but as time passes that will change.

 

I would also appreciate anyone that knows how to do this to help out as it is very time consuming. Remember this is a community project the more effort we all put in as a community the faster this will grow into something great.

 

Please spread the word to your friends and guild mates.

Added a new sheet:

Click> NPC Stats.

 

The original sheet was made by CopperHamster. I used his sheet and made some changes:

• Visual Improvements.
  
• Added Fields: Recruited On, Species, Sex, Romance, Secondary Stat, Ship Droid Sensors with Crew Skill Bonuses, Gift Likes, Affection Conversation Guide Links.
  
• Treek and HK-51
  
• Hyperlinks for NPC's to Biography webpages.
  
• Hyperlinks to guides on getting Treek and HK-51
  

 

When I grab sheets from existing sheet collections I always provide credit to them as the creator on the table of contents and a link to the original source. The reason for grabbing sheets is purely to create a centralized hub for people to get information easily also to add information that could be helpful.

 

The sheet is mostly complete could use some help filling the missing fields. If anyone wants to help look for the "Please Fill".

To the Moderators. Please Sticky this thread.

There is a lot of old information out there that is irelevant to the current version of the game. It's no fun for new players finding information just to find out after doing a lot of research that the info they spent hours researching is no longer relevant. The faster you sticky this thread the faster it will get attention and people will start adding content. Which in turn help BioWare retain new players. New Star wars movies will be coming out soon so new potential customers. The sooner and more people we get on this project the better odds of retaining the new people that play. Im willing to put in the work just need you guys to hit that sticky button

It's only been a few hours and I already see people filling out info for the NPC Stats spreadsheet. It's almost done.

 

It's nice to see there are more people using the spreadsheets as well.

Changed the format of the Class Guide Links Page.

 

It is now easier to use and Sort Field Enabled

New content added to the "Crew Skill - Critical / Efficiency Bonus for each Class/Companion." spreadsheet.

 

I added a table with the absolute best possible Distribution of Crew Skills between 8 Characters 1 of each Rep/Imp Class to achieve:

• Max Crit for all Craft skills.
  
• Max Crit for all Gather/Mission skills.
  
• Max Efficiency for all Gather/Mission skills.
  

 

If you use this setup you will have:

• Each Craft Skill once.
  
• Each Gather/Mission skill twice.
  
• Two Crew skill choices to do as you please.
  

 

This setup will require you to have 8 characters total 4 Republic and 4 Imperial.

 

If you see any need for corrections let me know.

This is fantastic, Especially the Companion affect gift list (Really helpful when I am recording the Companion videos!). I know that Dulfy has an Affection Conversation Guide for the class companions, and HK-51, but nothing for Treek. Which is a bit frustrating.

 

Also, will you be adding Datacrons to this list?

Added a New Spreadsheet:

Crew Skills - Which Craft Skill Makes What

 

This spreadsheet has three tables:

1. By Item - Alphabetical order of items made.
   
2. By Craft Skill - Alphabetical order of Craft Skills.
   
3. By Type - Alphabetical order of Craft Item Type.

I'm hesitant to go in and change it myself, but here's some errors I spotted with regard to Kaliyo

 

Tab "Crew Skill - Best Class-Com"

 

Under Armormech in Efficiiency category, there's listed Kaliyo as having +10 efficiency.

 

This is incorrect, she should be listed under Armstech.

Same for the tab "Crew Skill Crit./Effi. Table"

 

This is where I stopped so I assume every other tab she's listed with a crafting skill, she's likely also (mis)placed under the wrong crafting skill

 

btw, her name is also spelled incorrectly. It's not " Kaliyp D'Jannis" but "Kaliyo Djannis" without apostrophe (at least according to the game codex)

For Datacrons throw it on the wishlist page if someone else doesn't get to it I will when i can. I actually just started playing three weeks ago hehe so got my hands full between getting all my alts to 25 while making the spreadsheets and posting in the forums.

 

But to hold you over these two links should give you everything you need for datacrons.

This spreadsheet has a list of Miscellaneous Guides / Info for SWTOR:

 

Here are a few examples:

1. Affection Conversations: (List of Affection Missions: Convo Routes Affection gained)
   
2. Picky Companions Affection/Gift walkarounds.
   
3. SWTOR / MMO Glossary / Abbreviations.
   
4. Datacron: General, Relic Builds, Locations (Maps, Coordinates, Videos)
   
5. Newcomers: Wealth of info one spot for Newcomers, Also good for experienced players.
   

 

Sidenote: I am one person . I just started playing the game 3 weeks ago so have not learned where all the great guides are yet but been adding them as I come across them or consolidating scattered information into spreadsheets. Most of my efforts are leaning towards crafting info and craft spreadsheets ATM as I usually start blasting out craft / gather skills to make gear/currency to use on my characters before I focu on leveling them. That being said ......

 

Could really use everyones help filling the following sheets with links to great guides:

I created a new worksheet and dropped in the info I've collected on datacrons (it doesn't have SoR content added yet, but that should be nice and easy to add) as far as how many on each planet (Rep and Imp), what bonuses they give and which lore entries are tied to each one.

 

Feel free to do with that info what you will; it's merely a starting point for someone to tinker with if they so desire.

Is there anyway you could get that plugin or script to work on a spreadsheet page dedicated to your map?

I decent with spreadsheets but lack the I337 knowledge of scripts to get a map like that working on a google doc spreadsheet. If it is possible and one of your team were inclined to do it, it would be awesome to showcase your map on a dedicated page. Also feel free to add any content to the collection it is after all open source and the property of all players.

Yeah if you see any errors on any of the sheets feel free to change it, in the spirit of wiki. Many late nights of spreadsheets by anyone myself especially errors are bound to be made.

This spreadsheet has:

1. Easy to follow picture tutorial on how to use Google Spreadsheets, starting with the basics and progressing to the more advanced.

I am sure there are many people that are new to Google Spreadsheets so I started a picture tutorial on how to use Google spreadsheets. It's very easy to follow.

 

Just started it so for now there are just two tutorials.

• How to navigate through all the sheets quickly using the "All Sheets Button"
  
• How to fix something you break by accident, using the undo and redo button.
  
• I will keep adding tutorials as I have time.
  
• Any help making tutorials will be appreciated. Doesn't have to be perfect I can always do touchups on tutorials people add.

I used Gadwin Printscreen click on this to goto the download page.

 

Gadwin is an awesome print screen that allows you to create hot buttons to screen capture with the mouse in the picture. Most screen captures make the mouse disappear not very helpful when making tutorials.

1. A list of Dropped and Vendor Schematics. (Non Skill Trainer Schematics)
   
2. Currently just one entry on there to get the ball rolling.Could use help filling this one out since I just started to play a month ago . Remember its a community spreadsheet owned by all the players, so lets get some community teamwork on this. Im taking a few days off, I will fill what I can as I have time and run into Schematics and find info for them on the net, when i get back.

That spreadsheet looks like a late-90's geocity site. All it's missing is the crappy starfield background.

 

This is exactly the kind of thing that Wiki's are meant to solve, by the way. Group collaboration by disparate people and all that.
