Wolfshonor
I'm very interested to know if anybody here on the forums had a deeper understanding of how the devs go about pricing certain items. To be more specific, how they set the coin cost for unlocking item sets in your collection across an account. I have both the Stalker's and Eidolon armor set unlocked on one character. Now when I start a new character, I know I have to pay for the upgrade to account wide. When I look it up, one set costs 240 cartel coins and the other only costs 90. Personally, I find the 90 to be much more reasonable. Both sets, however, come from the cartel pack so I don't understand the price difference. As an addendum, I feel the cartel coin cost for a lot of items could use a period of reevaluation or at least an ongoing dialogue about it. emeraldon
I'm pretty sure the process of determing the prices goes like this: Hm, say, developer A, do you believe set X will be more popular than set Y? If answer = yes, price = 240 or 400 else price = < 100. Alternately, as was the case with the nightlife packs; If set ****** set X = probably more popular than set Y, price = 600 CC, else price = < 500.
