You have to do it solo since it doesn't count for both and that shouldn't be since the weekly is no longer part of a story. I wish it would be possible to do the Revan weekly in a group, it is silly when you can do all the Yavin 4 dailies together except that one. However, I believe it's an engine limitation. It has the same entrance as the story quest, so it can't be a group phase if the story uses a personal phase. Hopefully, they'll design the content differently for future updates. Do the conversations separately or twice, and then do the SOLO FPs together, kill mobs together, complete all missions together. Its not occasional, its pretty much every single conversation.
