And sometimes, it feels like the downs outweigh the good qualities of this game and here's one reason--it makes me angry because I've wasted so much money on useless Cartel Coins so I can have nice gear. I've bought packs over and over on the CM for: Revan's ArmorTulak Hord's ArmorRevan's Reborn Armor It's literally all I want and for some reason, no matter how many times I buy it, I DON'T GET WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR! Can't you let these kinds of things be earned out of missions, at least? I'm surprised there isn't any official headline saying "EA trolls for money." Sounds greedy, right? Also, sometimes, for no reason at all, my characters that I spend a lot of time developing somehow get deleted the next day. This makes me really angry too, given all of the damn sidequests I normally have to go through. I'd like at least one of these gear sets to compensate for the damage done there. SWTOR has its moments, but I'm tired of this bad repetition. I get that no one really wants to sacrifice anything, but my faith in TOR might be restored if someone could come to the compromise I'm suggesting. There's a larger list of problems that could persuade my friends--who are also angry at the inconveniences of SWTOR--to disband. I'm kind of upset with my experience on SWTOR and how nothing I do seems to work. If you can't innovate or come to a compromise--not just for me, for everyone else who's shared my frustration--I'll be really disappointed, overall. In regards to collecting gear that you want from the Cartel Market: Buy packs.SELL THEM UNOPENED.Collect credits.Buy what you want.Profit! This is how most people get the things they want. That is the only method that is guaranteed to work. As the proud owner of many, many cartel market sets including the original Revan set, I can assure you that this method works wonders. If you don't enjoy opening packs to see what you get, don't open them. Sell them and use the profit to buy what you want. It's as simple as that. In regards to your other issues: Disappearing characters seems like a bad, bad thing. Are you sure someone isn't deleting them? Are you perhaps dropping to preferred periodically, and no longer having access to all your characters? That's not normal at all, and you should really get that figured out. Having a temper tantrum about it is like going to a casino and having a fit because you put $15 bucks in the machine that has a car/boat/rv as the prize and didn't win it. Doing that will generally just result in people , or it your a real noisy complainer, potentially tossed out on your butt. Again, you are guaranteed to get a RANDOM assortment out of each pack you open, nowhere was it stated opening a pack/x amount of packs will net you a item you specifically desire. As to point #2 id see who has access to your account. Do you have a sibling or roomate that's a douchebag and will log in your account and delete your characters for ***** and giggles? A significant other thats annoyed by the time you spend playing the game and deletes them out of spite? Even if you drop to Preferred from Subscriber, your characters will still be there, just unplayable. So the only way they can dissapear is if someone deletes them. I reccomend getting a security key eithey way, then you will know only you are able to log into your account.
