What if you could move while using Death From Above, so in rare cases, actually get up on a ledge? Obviously that wouldn't be fair to Troopers, so what if Death From Above was seperated into two seperate skills? Skill 1 being the sort of 'hover for 3s' and skill 2 being the Trooper's Death From Standing skill? This way Mercs and Troopers both get a situational escape of sorts and Mercs will finally be able to channel their aoe without drawing anymore attention than a Trooper does. /sign if you think the Devs are too far removed from the community. We can knock players off ledges and chase players up onto ledges, but we can't jet-pack onto them? Even if it couldn't get you onto a ledge, three seconds immunity to short range abilities would help you wait out some of your opponents back to back DCDs, build up some Tracer Stacks, maybe waste half their Gore window and so on.
