It has no use or whatsoever, but it has a nameplate like it does have a purpose. For instance, there is also a heroic area in the Dark Temple on Dromund Kaas that was supposed to have a Heroic 2+ mission in it, but that quest is no longer in the game. This type of thing makes me sad. I wish Bioware would go back and restore cut content...Imagine leveling a new alt and discovering an area that wasn't there before, or having a formerly scenery-only NPC suddenly ask you for help.
