The Developers have said that 500 is the new crafting level for 3.0, and that there are MK-10 augments and slots coming. They have not said that a new tier of material are coming, but with two new planets, the cap being raised to 500 and a whole slew of new crafting schematics, it is logical to expect that all of today's top-end materials will be playing second fiddle come December. Idk if they said anything about any new mats though. normally these schematics are green and some blue, only for f2p mostly. They have to push some high end gear, rare schematics into the game. Beyond the casino style (get the gear, destroy it and with luck u can craft it) but in the process you are fully dressed and most of the people, dont bother.
