In the main base for your faction there is a vendor that sells Tauntaun DNA reports for 100k each, as well as Tauntaun bait. The bait can be used at a Tauntaun nest to lure a mother tauntaun and a wampa. Kill the wampa to obtain a DNA file. Once you have twenty (fifteen for a different, subscribers only version) of these items, you an purchase the Tauntaun mount at the same vendor. Most apparently: Cartel market free!
