PattyOnABurger Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) Hey guys, I am thinking of buying KOTOR off Steam, as I really enjoyed the game a few years back and want to play it again. I was thinking of buying it off Steam, but some comments say that the game crashes often. However, these posts are 1 or 2 years old. Does the game still crash often or is it stable now? turjake Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Seems to work, more or less, atleast on win-7 - 64bit. But it needs a bit tuning. Also I hate the "keep the cd in" copy protection. Jeweledleah Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 works fine for me. however, I did mod it for my screen resolution, etc and had auto updates disabled. been a while, so screen resolution is the only modification I remember making for sure. anyways, its been working just fine for me. just remember that if you are going to adjust it, disable auto updates in properties. just in case. even though the game is old and doesn't really get updates anymore. still.
