g_land Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 So Bioware released the original Gree event in February of 2013 and stated that it would be released 4 times every calendar year. They did in fact make it 4 times in the first calendar year, amazing. WIth its upcomming release it will be the first time in this events 12 month cycle and it will already be 5 months in to that cycle. Bioware, are you actually going to keep to that cycle which would mean the last three would be crammed into the end of the year. I know people love the bounty event, but would it be possible instead of having one event every month rotate three through instead. Month 1: Bounty eventMonth 2: Gree eventMonth 3: Rakghoul event or some other event, perhaps have this third spot cycle through two events, bringing each one up every 6 months? In game I have seen a lot of people who need some legacy offhands and to have the gree event available so rarely and be the only possible source of said items is certainly putting some people in the lurch, particularly since the gree event is now a one week event, whereas previously it lasted two weeks. And yes, making the items to purchase the gree event weapons/offhands/speeders bind to legacy did alleviate this some. It is a recurring event on Ilum that usually occurs once every 3-4 months, but was never promised by BioWare to be a certain number of times per year.
