Kiryan Posted April 3, 2014 Share Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Noticed this last weekend on my 45 Guardian, that the exploration xp I was getting with a boost on - which lists the amount of 25% - was not, in fact, giving that amount. I did the math, and was somewhat dismayed to learn the numbers only added up to a 20% boost! I was receiving 1350 xp per map area unlocked without the boost; with the boost, I expected that number to increase to be 1688 (1350+25%(337.5)=1687.5). However, the increase was only to 1620, which is only 20% (1350+20%(270)=1620). The question, then, would have to be: which is wrong, the tooltip, or the internal math? I then submitted a bug report for Items, ticket #12205855. What I received in response baffled me; it wanted me to post my 'suggestion' to the Suggestion Forums...even though this was a bug report, not a suggestion. To reproduce: 1) Log on any character not level capped 2) Obvserve values for any exprience gain 3) Consume an experience boost item 4) Observe the change in experience values 5) The math will not equal the 25% listed on the boost Edited April 3, 2014 by Kiryan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
