Zharik
When you target someone you get a % reading of their shields (per arc) and hull. You don't get that for yourself. Why is that?
Slivovidze
When you target someone you get a % reading of their shields (per arc) and hull. You don't get that for yourself. Why is that? BECAUSE REASONS! Srsly though, I'd also like exact information about my ship's resources. Not only shield and hull, also engine and weapon energies. I see no valid reason why we don't have this information. Edited March 4, 2014 by Slivovidze
Armonddd
Because the UI is kind of crap.
Gavin_Kelvar
When you target someone you get a % reading of their shields (per arc) and hull. You don't get that for yourself. Why is that? I would guess that it is because the shield/ship hull UI for your ship is designed to look similar to UIs of older SW games such as X-Wing and Rogue Squadron. Personally I like it because of fond memories of those games. Just be glad that they didn't also keep X-Wing's thing where as your hull integrity dropped your UI took damage (so you'd loose front and/or rear sensors, your targeting computer read out etc.). That was a nice touch with immersion but at the same time also kinda sucked as it would eventually render you combat ineffective.
